Learn MoreFig. 1 Hammer Mill. 2.2 Attrition Mills. Attrition mills use the hammermill principle to a certain extent; i.e., shattering by/impact. However, they also impart a shearing and cutting action. Grinding is done between two discs equipped with replaceable wearing surfaces. One or both of these discs is rotated; if both, they rotate in opposite ...

The Dinnissen Hamex® hammer mills, which are available in various sizes with 1,500 RPM and 3,000 RPM, have been used successfully in many sectors for decades. This is because they are known for their high level of reliability, extremely efficient grinding process and very low noise level.
Learn MoreUnique to hammer mill grinding is that material must pass through the screen to exit the mill. This guarantees the final product maximum size. Hammer configuration, rotation speed and screen sizes can be varied to process different grains, and each component can be changed individually. More hammers, faster speeds and finer screens produce a ...
Learn MoreThe high hammer tip speeds produce a powerful impact with your material particles, generating a throughput of up to 57 t/h for coarse grinding and 22 t/h for fine grinding, depending on your recipes. This provides efficient grinding for livestock feeds, pet food and aqua feed, as well as for grain milling applications.
